 | 郑忠，1962年生于江苏海安。
1988年毕业于南通大学美术学院，1997年毕业于江苏版画院研修生班，1999年毕业于中央美术学院版画系研究生班，中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员，江苏省版画院高级画师，南通版画研究院院长。
作品入选30多个国家和地区的国际版画展及中国美协第十二次新人新作展,中国优秀版画家作品展,跨世纪99中国国际名画家作品展，“常青藤”三人版画巡回展,2000年（美国、日本、台湾）国际版画邀请展、2001年青岛国际版画双年展,2002年（四川美院）当代版画学术邀请展，2003年中国版画百年回顾展，今日中国美术大展。2004年中国高等艺术院校版画年会作品展，2005年中国丝网版画20年回顾展，2006年中国版画名家邀请展，2007年葡萄牙国际版画邀请展。
1997年11月在中国美术馆、江苏省美术馆举办个展，2001年在塞浦路斯尼可西亚文化中心个展，2003在芬兰赫尔辛基文化中心个展。
作品获全国第五届三版展银奖，第13届全国版画作品展铜奖，美国廖氏版画奖，及中国八、九十年代优秀版画家鲁迅版画奖。
作品为中国美术馆、文化部中国展览交流中心、埃及版画博物馆和塞浦路斯共和国总统收藏。
作品载入《中国现代美术全集》（版画卷）《中国当代美术1979--1999》《中国百年版画》《中国当代美术家图录》《今日中国美术》《中国当代青年和共青团》《中国版画名家藏珍集》等大型典藏，并在《美术》《美术研究》《文艺研究》《美术大观》《艺术界》《美术观察》《美苑》《江苏画刊》《美术报》等专业报刊发表，CCTV美术星空两次作专访。吴冠中自传《生命的风景》选用郑忠的版画作品作封面，《郑忠版画作品集》由北京文化艺术出版社出版。
Zheng Zhong’s Biographical Notes of Artistic Activities Zheng Zhong, dean of Nantong Printmaking Research Institute, born in Hai’an, Jiangsu Province in 1962 and graduated from the Fine Arts Institute of Nantong University in 1988, and from the Researcher’s Class in Jiangsu Printmaking Institute in 1997 and from the Dept. of Printmaking in China Central Academy Of Fine Arts（CAFA）for master degree in 1999, is a member of Chinese Artists Association and Chinese Printmaking Artists Association as well as a senior lecturer in Jiangsu Printmaking Institute.Zheng Zhong’s works have been selected and exhibited in more than 30 countries and areas.
